“The house was really clean on arrival and had little extra touches like chocolates on the pillow which was nice. Also, the hosts left us with some breakfast items and tea and coffee etc which was great. The hosts were brilliant and couldn’t do enough for us, providing a BBQ when we asked. They were always on hand to answer any questions. The house is in a really secure location and a great street. The location is good for pubs (although we didn’t eat at any so can’t comment on food). We did have the Chinese and Indian takeaways and both were brilliant. Order in plenty of time though as they were very busy! Overall, we had a lovely stay and can’t recommend the hosts enough.”

“This was a last minute booking after having to cancel a planned trip to France so we were unsure what to expect. The village itself is very pretty and the gated Barton Manor even prettier! We were greeted by Sara with some very welcome essentials and given a tour of the beautiful garden by both Sara and Nigel along with some info on the Manor House and local area. The apartment itself is modern, very clean and well equipped with everything you need, including high quality bedding and towels. There is ample space for a family of four and if anything was better than the photos suggested. There are four pubs, a couple of takeaways and a few shops within a 5-minute walk, the beach is a 10-minute walk or two minute drive away. It’s perfectly situated for touring the area with lots of towns, villages and beaches within easy reach. Sara and Nigel were lovely, always had time for a chat and to offer recommendations on where to visit and good places to eat. We had a fantastic week and can’t recommend this place highly enough!”

“My parents and sister stayed here for a week. The apartment is beautiful, extremely well looked after and very clean. The decor and standard of finish is very high. The property is located down a very pretty close right in the centre of a lovely village with plenty of local amenities and a choice of pubs. Sara is a very attentive and caring host, nothing is too much trouble. I would highly recommend a visit”

“This was an exceptional experience! We were very excited by the images and reassured by Sara's swift and caring communication prior to our arrival and during our stay. Upon arrival, we were welcomed by Sara and Nigel with open arms. They gave us a tour of Barton Manor, including their beautiful garden grounds which are accessible to guests via a key pad. Our little car received a designated (roofed) parking space on the property which added that extra bit of security. We stayed in Apartment No. 9 which has two well-sized bedrooms and a very stylish lounge. The kitchen is spacious and has everything you need for preparing and cooking meals. We very much enjoyed the tranquillity, the comfortable lounge with recliner sofas and marvelled at the many nearby historical sights. We discovered the National Nature Trail in Kingley Vale, fell in love with Arundel and Arundel Park, visited Chichester Cathedral and dived into the sea by Pagham Beach which is a short walk from Barton Manor. All in all, a real treasure which we will recommend to friends and colleagues. Hopefully, we will be back in the not so far future”

“We stayed at Barton Manor for three nights and had a great time. The apartment is very clean and although we didn’t have any problems or questions, Sara and Nigel informed us that they were always just a phone call away if we needed anything. A last note on the apartment - we found the beds to be very comfortable. We used Barton Manor as a base to explore Chichester and Arundel, two locations definitely worthy of a visit.”

“Absolutely fabulous! Great getaway in a lovely quiet area. Very easy to find and Sara and Nigel are always on deck ready to support and answer any questions. The home itself was gorgeous and spacious with all the amenities you could need away from home. Sara was great with all the local info about takeaways etc. Nigel was ready immediately when we had a query about putting the heating on. Lovely comfy beds and clean linen helped for a great night's sleep too! Would absolutely recommend and would love to come back if they'll have us at some point!”

“What a fabulous location for a holiday. The house was beautifully appointed; of show home quality and spotlessly clean. Comfortable beds, lovely big kitchen, super gardens front and back with sun and shade. Sara and Nigel were the perfect hosts and nothing was too much trouble. The welcome pack was unexpected and a lovely touch. We hadn't been to this specific stretch of the Sussex coast before and it really is a hidden gem. The beaches were quiet and three different sections of beach were accessible within walking distance. Bognor was only 8 minutes away by car. Plenty of local walks with many more available within a 10 minute drive. The nature reserve and harbour areas were really peaceful and this would be a great area for bird watchers to visit! But really it would suit anyone just wanting some peace and quiet within easy access of London. We self-catered due to Covid but could see that there are several eateries within walking distance and all seemed very popular. Our pre-booked Tesco delivery arrived with no issues at all!! We would recommend this property to couples and families (with older children).”

Sara and her husband Nigel are wonderful and inviting and gave us tips on places in the area - there were also special touches around the house that we didn't expect and little treats on our beds :).
