Goodwood House is a 17th century Period house dating back to 1600 and set amongst the glorious Goodwood South Downs where the Duke of Richmond operates a comprehensive array of wonderful public and corporate events throughout the year.
It extends to over 12,000 acres near Chichester in West Sussex and also provides a dramatic setting for one of the most significant private art collections in the country. The State Apartments, restored to their full Regency splendour.
The house and its grounds are the site of the annual world-famous Goodwood Festival of Speed, whilst elsewhere on the estate the Goodwood Circuit motorsport track at Goodwood Airport hosts the annual Goodwood Revival. Goodwood Racecourse hosts ‘Glorious Goodwood’ and a number of other horse race meetings. The estate includes two golf courses and a cricket pitch, an organic farm and the headquarters of Rolls Royce Motor Cars is also on the Estate.
Guided tours of Goodwood House of the State Apartments at Goodwood House are available on most Sundays and Mondays between March and October. £9.50 per person. Children under 12 are complimentary.
